Be a part of the Sahyadri Classic Race and take on one of the most challenging cycling routes in Maharashtra – covering 180+ km with 4 mighty ghats and an elevation gain of around 3050m+ in a single day.

The ‘Sahyadri Classic’ is an Individual Race with a Mass Start for every Ghat. Participants fight the clock, challenge their endurance, and experience the raw beauty of the Sahyadris.

Ghat Sections:

  1. Kelghar Ghat (Medha): 16km, Elevation 608m
  2. Ambenali Ghat: 30km, Elevation 1214m
  3. Tapola Ghat: 24km, Elevation 647m

Ghat Sequence:

  • 4 Ghats: Kelghar - Ambenali - Kelghar -Tapola
  • 3 Ghat : Kelghar - Ambenali - Tapola
  • 2 Ghats: Kelghar-Tapola
  • 1 Ghat: Tapola

Flow of the Event:

  • Race briefing & Bib collection: 20th November 2026 at Dave Hotel, Mahabaleshwar
  • Bib Collection: 4 PM to 8 PM on 20th November 2026

Points to remember:

  • Every category is solo category. No team is allowed.
  • In 4 Ghat category, Men & Women Compete Together. Men and Women Elite will race together. Men and Women Masters will race together.
  • If registrations for any category are fewer than 10, that category winners will get trophies and stage presence only, not prizemoney.
  • Route for 3 Ghat category "Kelghar–Ambenali–Tapola, 70km Recreational. 14-hour overall cutoff. Medal only for finishers — not eligible for prize money." This category does not have cutoff for each ghat. They will start at 5 AM and should finish at before 7 PM.
  • In recreational category, both men and women can participate.
  • For 2 Ghat and 1 Ghat Category BIB can be collected 1 hour before at the start point of the race.
